Although this hasn't been our normal winter in terms of weather, we are all getting bored of looking at plain black pants! This is the time of year when we start trying to add spring to our wardrobes. It's time for some holiday shopping! We have something for everyone at both Pennywise and Pennywise Downtown. North Face jackets and Ugg boots are on everyone's wish list this year and we get them regularly for women, men and kids. Keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter where we post daily about new arrivals. This year we are also featuring jewelry from local artists set in sterling and made of semi-precious stones at fantastic prices. There's pendants, earrings, necklaces and bracelets at prices to fit anyone's budget. We also offer gift cards for any amount you'd like which can be used at either store and they never expire! Holiday Hours

We wanted to post a friendly reminder to those of you who have not seen our Thanksgiving week hours in store or on our Facebook and Twitter pages. We will be accepting consignments and issuing checks on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday November 22 only. Wednesday and Friday we will be open for sales only. The following Monday, November 28, we will resume accepting consignments and issuing checks on the normal Monday thru Friday 9:30-4:00 schedule. Make sure you sign up for our emails on our website to receive coupons and specials for the holiday shopping season. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Fall is Finally Here!

These cool nights and chilly mornings have inspired us all to start looking for fall clothes and we are already stocked with them at both Pennywise and Pennywise Downtown. Check out our huge selection of sweaters and boots for every occassion. Just because we're covering up more doesn't mean we forgot about the accessories. There's tons of scarves to choose from in bright prints and colors and a very large assortment of jewelry. We have been marking in new items non-stop so check back often as inventory changes daily. Introducing Pennywise Downtown!

You asked and we listened.... introducing Pennywise Downtown! The location of our kids store, Just Kidding, is now the new site for our second women's clothing store. We will still have a section for very high end children's clothing and all of your teen's favorite brands but have now added more of your favorites from Pennywise. Our best sellers such as designer jeans, high end designer items, shoes and accessories can now be found at both locations! We began the transformation this week and it is already such a huge success we are adding to the inventory at both locations every day. We will be consolidating our Facebook and Twitter pages to keep you up to date on both stores at once. In addition to a new store location, our online shopping is almost completed! Stay tuned for the official opening of our online store and check out Pennywise Downtown at 25 Cottrell St. Downtown Mystic (across from the Mystic River Park).
